Grapefruit is a subtropical citrus variety with a sour and slightly bitter taste. Grapefruit was first grown in Barbados, the West Indies, as a hybrid fruit with a sweet orange. Later, and especially in recent years, it spread all over the world. In our country, it has been widely consumed and produced in the same way for the last 8-10 years.
Grapefruit is widely grown in China and the United States. It has a slightly yellow thick layer. Its interior resembles an orange. The fruit is very juicy and grows in red and white colors. Some grow seedless, while others contain seeds.
